Dr. Chopde is one of the rare personalities who is gifted with an excellent track record as a surgeon as well as an exemplary leader. Started as a medical officer with Booth Hospital, Ahmednagar in 1997, Dr. Chopde served as a clinical surgeon with a wide range of well-acclaimed institutions in his career that spanned over 43+ years. In the span 1984 to 1989, Dr. Chopde was the president of the Surgeons’ Association Ahmednagar (Maharashtra). He also served as the president of CMAI – Pithapuram (Andhra Pradesh) in the period 1990 – 1996.
